ARIS Engineering is located on the Historic Downtown Ozark Square, directly across from Ozark City Hall.Martin Capages, Jr. founded American Residential Inspection Systems, Inc. (ARIS, Inc.) in August 1993. This company originally developed and supported a home inspection franchise system with offices in several southwest Missouri cities. ARIS, Inc. originated out of Tate, Crocker, and Capages Consulting Engineers, Inc. This predecessor company, originally founded by Ralph D. Tate in 1980 specialized in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Dr. Capages became a co-owner of Tate Engineering Services in 1992. While consulting on residential and commercial building system designs he developed the ARIS, Inc. residential Inspection system and detailed inspection procedure. ARIS Engineering was established as a separate, wholly owned division of American Residential Inspection Systems, Inc. in 1995.
