Established in 2019, we are Ontario's first worker owned co-operative architectural practice. As a business, Arise Architects Cooperative is founded on co-operative principles, including democratic decision-making, community focus, member participation, continuous education, and autonomy. These guidelines enable and ensure that our business is driven by values and profit rather than profit alone. As an architectural practice we approach each project with openness, thoughtfulness and rigor. We recognize that the quality of the places in which we work, rest, play, learn and heal can affect us deeply. Our goal is to create enduring and sustainable design solutions that surprise, delight and bring joy to the community. Our portfolio contains a mixture of residential, educational, healthcare and religious buildings for a wide range of clients.
