Our MissionTo encourage, promote, develop and administer field hockey in Arizona at all levels as a sport for everyone and maximize participation, standards, enjoyment and community involvement. The work of the AFHF and its efforts shall be based on values to include respect, democracy, loyalty, equality and especially recognizing the importance of our volunteers. Our Purpose-The AFHF will organize and operate exclusively to foster the growth and development of the sport of Field Hockey in Arizona.-The AFHF will conduct national or international amateur sports competitions along with regional, national or international coaching, training and development programs to support and develop amateur athletes for competition in the sport of Field Hockey.-The AFHF will encourage, promote, develop and administer growing the sport of field hockey to support health development for students of schools, youths, adults and seniors.-The AFHF will cultivate the ideals of good sportsmanship and fair play among individuals and in administration of its training and educational policies, admissions policies, and sponsorship programs for underprivileged youths, and athletic and other AFHF administered programs.-The AFHF is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including, for such purposes in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
