ARJUNA.AG is a luxury protective fashion company that designs and sells silver-plated clothing for 21st century travel and urban environments.Intended to be worn over, under or between your existing wardrobe, we are not competing with existing fashion but rather offering a new layer of protection -- like adding a daily vitamin to your meal. In addition to their functional benefits, the products are intended as tools for creating space in your daily live -- supporting practices such as meditation, sleep, focused work or study that help maintain mental and physical balance.The company was founded by Mikaela Bradbury, a South African born, New York based polymath, with a background in anthropology and Tibetan Studies from Columbia University. In addition to creating mobile sanctuaries for urban living, our mission is to support other forms of sanctuary around the world, including safe havens for at-risk women and children. Our first partnership is with the Komo Learning Centres of Uganda, donating one NetProtect mosquito net to the women and children of the Mpoma Community for every Classic Travel Hoodie purchased. Mikaela also co-hosts a weekly meditation group called The BE Society, that brings meditation to the creative and arts communities of New York. Arjuna is Sanskrit for 'silver,' or 'bright,' and is the name of the main warrior-prince in the Bhagavad Gita, an ancient mythological text in which Lord Krishna teaches Arjuna the path of karma yoga, or sacred action.
