A webzine focusing on bringing informative, educational accounts of the interactions between the state and people of Arkansas and the world, Arkansas:Abroad was started in September 2010 by Daniel Green in an attempt to provide a reliable, unbiased source of information for world events and how they effect the lives of everyday Arkansans. Reliant on submission-based material, Arkansas:Abroad also focuses on providing the students and academics of the Natural State with an avenue in which they can debate, present and create in a way that will allow their ideas to find an outlet they might not otherwise be able to find. In addition, Arkansas:Abroad provides an place in which immigrants and immigrant communities in the state can explain their stories, their heritage, their history in a way that will inform and delight the people of Arkansas. Other topics, such as economics and politics, are written on as well by some of the top minds in Arkansas. All in all, Arkansas:Abroad serves as a repository for the collective knowledge capital that the state not only posses, but stands to gain in the near future.From the world. To you. And back.
