Arken was founded in 2015 by Rafa Perera, with the purpose to compose the best heavy metal songs ever.The first EP was released in august 2018. The highlight song is "Care Less". The tittle of the song, the way it is writen, means an imperative for caring less about pretty much everything that doesn't deserves attention.In 2020 was released the single "Hope".The themes of the songs variates across inspiring films and books and urban lifestyle.The most influent bands for Arken comes from the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal).The name Arken comes from ‘Arkenstone', term extracted from "The Hobbit", by J. R. R. Tolkien.
