The Project ARM team created an interactive mobile application designed to augment the traditional museum guides, and provide museum visitors with a new way to experience their favorite -timeless- artworks. Merging hardware and software to create a never before seen scalable and modular solution for the cultural heritage fruition, the application offers to its users the possibility to discover, scan and learn about historical works of art on the spot, create their own tours, explore curated itineraries and related exhibitions designed just for them, and interact with other users by taking part to interactive mini-games.To reach its goals, Project ARM provides its users with an Advanced Recognition Scanning Software which allows them to unlock augmented, curated information about art on the spot just pointing their mobile device towards the artworks or the installations they are interested in.
