Arohi Media LLC, a Texas based corporation, acquired WDUR-AM, an historic 1948 radio station which was silent since August 2013 and put it back on Air on July 9, 2014 with 24 hour non stop Indian News/Talk and music format first of its kind for the South Asian community of the Research Triangle. WDUR is located on a beautiful 9 acre wooded lot in Durham area and shares boundaries with NCCU and is a few miles from the prestigious Duke University. WDUR signal reaches all largely populated south Asian communities in Raleigh/Durham, Chapel Hills, Cary, Research Triangle Area, and Morrisville - Over 100,000 residents are of South Asian heritage. We also broadcast on the HD4 Channel of 99.9 FM (WCMC) and on our translator on 98.3FM.We expanded to additional markets and are currently on in:Dallas, TX on 94.5 HD2Dallas, TX on 700AM and Dallas, TX on 104.1 FM TranslatorBaltimore, MD on 92.3 HD2Philadelphia, PA on 103.9 HD2Stay tuned!
