The Art Outreach programme is a free arts appreciation programme for local school students. It is designed to wrap around academic curriculum and expose students to the world of art. From well-known masters to equally legitimate works by more obscure artists, the Art Outreach programme focuses on making students comfortable with talking about art in its various aspects: art history, art aesthetics, art criticism and art movements. The programme has a special emphasis on exposing students to art from around the region, especially to art that is relevant to Singapore's heritage.
