ARTH's pursuit is to make GAUSHALA a financially sustainable model as well as create awareness about the importance of trees in one's life. ARTH focuses on saving trees by manufacturing cow dung logs as alternative fuel combustion used for Cremations and Holika Dahan in India.ARTH is a social initiative by students of IIT Delhi and NSIT Delhi alums, with the vision to financially sustain the cowsheds and cattle farmers by empowering them with the provision of technical skillsets and exposure to current technologies. ARTH provides the knowledge to make efficient utilization and optimization of otherwise underutilized resources. Our R&D team does learning and understanding the problem of cowsheds and works hard to bring innovative solutions. ARTH started its first initiative of manufacturing logs using cow dung as an alternative fuel for Hindu Cremations. The process will not only make the whole process of cremation green but also less dependent on wood, reducing deforestation.High Calorific Value and less production of Carbon Monoxide makes ARTH logs a better alternative over burning woods used in cremations.
