Artifice VR is an online XR platform, enabling art institutions to render their works into 3D using a proprietary process that aggregates data analytics from user interactions and optimizes institution revenues. Artifice VR offers services at the institution and user level. Our platform is ‘platform agnostic' and supports any type of head-mounted display (HMD). For our institutional offerings, we provide a full-XR package. With the XR package, art institutions will be provided with a full inventory virtual upload to our platform. The inventory will be stored on a blockchain for added privacy and as a means to verify authenticity through provenance tracking. With the uploaded inventory, the institution will be able to fully customize the viewing space. A limitless amount of options are available for the institution to choose from, giving the power to the museum, gallery, or artist to display their works in any number of fashions. Through Artifice VR's provincially patented use of edge computing and internet of things (IoT), the virtual assets are rendered with efficiency and accuracy. Our edge computing and IoT processes also aggregate user interactions with art institution works, compiling data to be used for the target institution's benefit. On the user side, the art enthusiast will have the option to further customize his / her viewing experience by having access to a plethora of different viewing options. Some of these options include: altering the environmental effects (e.g. lighting, contrast) and positioning of the artwork (e.g. turning the art work, framing, changing location of viewing from the floor to a wall.) Furthermore, the user will be able to start a collection and compare works that meet his / her tastes. Artifice VR gives the power of customization, interaction, and unique forms of viewership to both the user and the institution, providing a bespoke art viewing / collecting experience.
