Artisan Classic, through its trade division, CLASSIC ORGAN WORKS, supplies electronic control equipment (including MIDI I/O) to Pipe Organ builders, for use in new and rebuilt pipe organs. The e-commerce division - MIDIWORKS.CA - supplies consoles, keyboards and pedalboards to organ enthusiasts who want to set up a home PC-based "virtual organ" using Hauptwerk (software) as the sound engine. The company also maintains a social networking site for it's clients and classical organ fans, at www.contrebombarde.com There are currently over fifteen thousand performances available for download from the site - all for free! The MIDIWORKS division also produces the world-famous MIDIjet Pro wireless MIDI product. Our organ design software, OrganWorks(TM) is a Windows(R) based graphical organ design and specification program, which allows organists and organ builders to completely document the design of a pipe organ. An unregistered copy may be downloaded from our Internet site. Our retail division, CLASSIC ORGANBUILDERS, can supply complete custom-built electronic, or hybrid pipe-electronic CLASSICAL organs to churches, funeral chapels, or home organists. The retail division also acts as an authorized dealer for Ahlborn-Galanti electronic classical organs. Classic Organbuilders also does service and repair work on all makes of classical (church) organs.
