Based in New Delhi, Artistry was founded in 2017 by Shaiqa Shaukat, a fervent artist with an exhaustive background of working in the social and corporate sector. She is a graduate in fine arts and has developed a prominent interest in bringing art into individual, social and corporate life spaces over the years. She derives inspiration from artworks of Vincent Van Gogh & Salvador Dali, which symbolizes surrealism and impressionism, a kinship, through their artistic lens. She became acquainted with the works of other artists and was introduced to an array of various artistic styles and philosophies at a young age. Her ideas have developed and branched out in a manner, which is less derived and more unique. Theoretical science and existential philosophy are important themes that she portrays in her artwork. Shaiqa has acquired a unique skill in collaborating art with social development. ART-IS-TRY: As the name denotes, Artistry impounds the philosophy that everyone is born artist and hence art needs to be tried out. Its values stand in the name of the company which motivates people to be not only an artist but also make their surroundings artistic. Idea is to transform the monotonous and dull work culture and living space into a lively eco-system which is full of life and colors by introducing artworks into the work and living space.
