Artists International Media (AIM) began operation in 1986 after merging with Omega Concept Productions (OCP). Previous to the merge, OCP produced commercial, industrial and educational television. Accordingly, the logical progression for AIM was into television. AIM retained Omega Concept Productions as its television division and its first major project was the creation and production of Housing the American Dream, a home building series in 1986. American Dream was featured on a regional affiliate of the Fox Broadcasting network and aired for from 1988 to 1991.When the series wrapped, AIM was incorporated as an "S" corporation and continued developing and producing television programming. Hooked on Fitness and Space Odyssey were just two of the programs developed during that period. As AIM continued to grow, the rights to the 1940 musical play, "Promised Valley" were purchased and development began on the screenplay for a feature film based on the play. At the same time, Future 101 was also being developed for television. With the emphasis shifting to motion picture production, Focused Light Films (FLF) was formed in 1992 as the feature film division of AIM. Since that time, the AIM has racked up five feature credits with Summer of the Eagle being the first film followed by Fielder's Choice, The Creator's Game, Charly and most recently, A Heartbeat Away. Focused Light is currently developing Magic as its next project. AIM has also returned to its roots with the full-time development and production of television programming for network and cable television, most notably The Parade of Homes Show, currently in its third season.Artists International Media, Inc. is a privately held Los Angeles based motion picture and television production company.
