Artocrcy is a non-profit organization which provides a social media network and auction platform for artists and those who appreciate their work. Artocrcy allows artists to monetize their original art in a secure manner, directly to those who appreciate it the most and on their own terms. Artocrcy allows original art to be acquired, licensed or otherwise invested in by anyone with an internet connection and a credit card. Artists can reach this audience without currying favor from curators, galleries, auction houses or critics- their art can and will speak for itself. Artocrcy seeks to eliminate the various barriers to entry which have become pervasive throughout all mediums of art, thereby hindering an artist's ability and incentive to create original work as well as the ability of those who appreciate it to acquire or invest. Artocrcy offers insurance and authentication of every work sold or licensed on its platform, which is passed along at cost. Artocrcy relies on standard documentation for various transaction types, all of which protect the artist as well as the collector(s) and/or investor(s). Artocrcy also serves as the distribution partner and licensing agent as applicable and when requested, at cost.
