The AAGB is an alliance of artists, art organizations, and arts advocates committed to furthering the arts community in the Greater Bloomington Area.The goal of the Alliance is to provide a forum for artists and art organizations to discuss goals, needs, priorities and concerns, and to provide advocacy for the implementation of solutions and development.The Alliance acknowledges that the arts are an essential element of an enriched life. It supports the value of art; that art has an economic value as well as an intrinsic value, and therefore, supports the goal of payment to artists for their work. The Alliance will operate with transparency and trust, and be inclusive.
