Prior to his work at sociomantic labs, Dylan Cromwell started his own freelance design firm, ArtServ (http://artserv.us), which caters primarily to the artist communities worldwide. Founded in Oakland (and Berkeley), California, the firm has remained flexible and mobile and currently includes team members Washington (Seattle and Olympia), California (San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkeley), and Germany (Berlin and Bremen). Dylan Cromwell studied media arts at California College of the Arts, but he has also been a student of filmmaking, poetry, and philosophy at the Universität der Kunste Berlin. Outside of the labs he is also a VJ, turf dancer, and installation artist. These past and present experiences have helped to influence and inspire Dylan to maintain ArtServ as the go-to web firm for artists in need of web services.
