Since 1996, ARTUR IMAGES, has been dedicated to gathering the greatest architectural imagery from around theworld and publishing it to those in search of the highest artistic and technical quality in that guild of photography.Over the years, as we moved from original transparency film to an all digital online archive, we've seen a lot ofthings change, but one thing has remained constant: our commitment to collect and hold in stock the defining art ofarchitectural photography in general and the one of our photographers in particular. The foundation of our archive is the work of such masters of photography as Heinrich Heidersberger, Klaus Frahm,Tomas Riehle, Roland Halbe, Zooey Braun, Victor Brigola, Jochen Helle and many many others.To maintain as a vital source of imagery we are looking at the world of photography with open eyes and armsand continuously subjoin the work of photographers that can meet our rigorous standards.All projects are presented in respect of the expertise of each individual photographer as an observer, recognisinghim as one that not simply records work, but interprets it, is helping all of us, including the architects to understandwhat has been created. Whenever possible, we emphasise work that has been created very close to the architectto benefit from the relationship between an architect, as a building's prime author, and an architecturalphotographer, as the visual interpreter of its ultimate shape and form, that can be greatly influenced by theirmutual respect for each other's work.We wish to enable clients, visitors and sole admirers of our archive to appreciate architecture in context throughthe eyes of our photographers and carry on their experiences beyond our reach into their oikos.For this we will ambitiously pursue our goal to more and more create the most significant archive of historic andcontemporary architectural photography available to you.
