Asahi-Ecocarry INC. was founded by Asamatsu Yokozawa in 1953.It mainly deals with the transportation of residential waste in the Tokyo 23 wards.The number of employees including leased operators and H.B.Express division is 62.The annual sales including H.B.Express is around 750,000,000 yen.The head office is located in Minami Ikebukuro, Toshima-ward and a branch is in Wako-City, Saitama where all trucks are parked. The number of motorcycles is 12.It is affiliated with The Tokyo Environmental Safeguard Association, which iscomposed of 51 companies which transport residential waste in Tokyo 23 wards.Asamatsu Yokozawa was the president of Yodobashi waste transport INC. whichwas a part of SEIBU GROUP. Besides Asahi-Ecocarry, Asamatsu Yokozawaestablished other garbage collection companies such as Toyo transport INC, Taisei transport INC, Hikarigaoka Transport and Taiyo transport INC. He appointed his brothers and brothers in law to be the presidents of eachcompany in 1950's. In the western region of Tokyo 23 cities, most residential garbage collection is taken careof by the Yokozawa Families' companies. The Tokyo Environmental Safeguard Association ( TESA) has an exclusive contract with the Tokyo 23 Citi Governments regarding the residentila waste transportation.Only companies which are affiliated with TESA can deal with the transportationof residencial waste in Tokyo 23 cities.
