Ascent Children's Health Services offers a wide range of treatment opportunities for young people who are struggling with developmental disorders, mental health issues, and related concerns. With 10 locations throughout Arkansas, Ascent is the state's premier provider of comprehensive programming for infants, children, adolescents, and families.Ascent Children's Health Services, which opened with one facility in 1988, currently operates 10 day treatment clinics, four outpatient mental health centers, and one school-based mental health program in the following Arkansas communities:• Arkadelphia• Batesville• Benton• Blytheville• Jonesboro• Mountain Home• North Little Rock• Paragould• Trumann• West MemphisThe goal of Ascent Children's Health Services is to work closely with the family of each child, adolescent, or teen who needs treatment to ensure that all young people receive comprehensive personalized care that promotes long-term holistic healing. Depending upon a young person's specific needs, his or her treatment at an Ascent center may be provided by a variety of treatment professionals, including but not limited to pediatricians, psychiatrists, early childhood development specialists, nutritionists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, audiologists, speech-language pathologists, developmental technicians, and social workers.Ascent Children's Health Services is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and accepts most major insurance plans.
