Non-Profit - Caulfield East, N/A, AU
Established in 1997, the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Monash has expanded its membership base from a small minority to well over 1000 new members a year. Our members are mostly comprised of university students, all from many different backgrounds, universities and campuses around Melbourne. Over the years, ASEAN Monash has built a long-standing reputation as a social club across 3 Monash University campuses.ASEAN Monash began as a small university club with the desire to provide university students with great social events, where new friendships, networks, experiences and memories were made. Two decades later, we are still growing strong, along with our vision and ability to cater for bigger and better events. We are now being deemed as the largest social club of its kind at Monash University, spanning over 3 campuses: Clayton, Caulfield and Parkville. Our ability to develop and adapt to changes in the 'average' university life has enabled us to revolutionise the experience. Today, ASEAN has proven the ability to be a leader in running social events within the tertiary community. We have been able to not only be consistent but also deliver quality to our members, holding a diverse selection of exciting and popular ASEAN events, as well as others with well established university club's such as Monash University's International Students Society (MUISS) and Melbourne University's Australasian-Association (Aa) to bring you the best experiences.
