Ashbury Images supplies custom screen printing, promo goods and embroidery to startups, tech, fashion brands, K12, higher education, national non-profits, marketing teams and consumers. Our multi-million dollar operations have been based in San Francisco since 1990. As a social enterprise, Ashbury provides paid employment, job training, and supportive services to disconnected youth from throughout the SF Bay Area. We are nationally recognized for our double-bottom line operating philosophy. Our Rich San Francisco History:Ashbury Images began as a vocational job training program in the basement of a homeless drop-in center in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco. We started t-shirt printing for local businesses and nonprofit agencies and quickly became one of the fastest growing screen printing and embroidery shops in San Francisco. Our screen printing business quickly outgrew the basement of the drop-in center and in 1991 we moved to a rented storefront on Ashbury Street, taking the name Ashbury Images. In 1998, we moved into a 3,000-square foot facility and purchased our first automatic press. In 2007 we moved to a brand new 11,300-square foot facility in the vibrant Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco. Our total production capacity is now over a million prints a year on a single shift. We are part of New Door Ventures, a youth development social enterprise. New Door helps disconnected youth prepare for work and life. For more information please visit www.newdoor.org.
