Asia Dorset Fund is a long-short equity fund which seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation for investors mainly by investing in listed equities of small to mid-cap companies that have their principal business activities in the high-growth Asian markets, particularly ASEAN, targeting a 8 – 12% annual return across cycles. •The fund universe consists principally of listed equities from emerging and frontier markets, including but not limited to ASEAN, Greater China & Mongolia, India and Sri Lanka. Focused on ASEAN markets (~50%) •Invest in target countries' small and mid cap equities, i.e. US$100m to US$3b market cap •Focus on a combination of earnings growth, undervalued stocks and dividend plays •The fund will secondarily take positions in currencies, fixed income and interest rates •The fund will adopt a long/short strategy to optimize returns
