Asia Film Festival Details
The United Nations Asia Film Festival is a culture-oriented film event initiated by current United Nations (UN) staff. With the slogan "New Asia, New Film", this film festival aims at communicating modern Asian spirits worldwide. It will be an annual grand event with different yearly themes in future. The 1st film festival themed "Peace·Love" will be held in the UN Headquarters in New York from August 9th to August 12th, 2015, which is one of the activities that commemorate and celebrate the 70th anniversary of UN's founding. The themes of following festivals will be the combination of UN's major issues and Asian cultures.
