The Asian American Association was first recognized as a student organization by Miami University on January 27, 1988. Since then, our mission has been to promote the understanding and appreciation of diversity on campus, as well as to provide a community of students with opportunities to discuss and share the history, culture, and values of their Asian and American heritage. Our goal is to be at the forefront of developing proactive and community-oriented leaders through social events, educational awareness, and service activities.
