Asian Radio was a nonprofit corporation based in Austin, Texas, that launched three community-based FM radio programs focused on East Asian and Asian American music and cultures.Cofounded by Brandon Webb and Dr. Guo Lei in 2008, Asian Radio recruited and trained 20+ volunteer producers and DJ's. The three weekly programs broadcast to an average audience of 7,500 listeners each and provided the only source of East Asian and Asian American content in the Austin radio market.
