ASIANFIELDS Pollution Control Research Council (APCRC) Details
APCRC is an incorporated nonprofit body established for the protection of the environment. APCRC is established under the Companies Act 2013, incorporated by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. APCRC was established to plan and execute nationwide programs for the prevention, control, and abetment of environmental pollution as per the standards of the quality of the environment in its various aspects concerning the development of strategies, technology perspectives, key industrial capabilities to prevent pollution. Having a pan-India presence, APCRC has a dynamic network of 20 laboratories, 30 outreach centers, 3 Innovation Centres. It is involved in the analysis of the rational management of resources and waste, the impact assessment, pollution control, taking actions on climate change, and halting the risk of loss of species and habitats, while helping to promote green growth within the contents of the circular economy.
