KNX ROMANIA is a professional association promoting and supporting building automation applications that use the KNX open communication standard. The Association came into being by means of a partnership concluded amongst suppliers, integrators, and designers in order to promote KNX in Romania.In order to implement objectives being set out, KNX ROMANIA:- Promotes said field-specific European directives,- Supports the ellaboration of professional standards and norms in a field related to announced purpose,- Supports specific professional training private and public entities,- Co-operates with public and private bodies in order to fight manufacture and trading of counterfeit products.KNX ROMANIA, as well as other national KNX associations, developed itself under the auspices and support of KNX Association (worldwide) headquartered in Brussels. The latter came into being as a result of joint efforts of members of international associations EIBA (European Installation Bus Association), EHSA (European Home Systems Association), BCI (BatiBUS Club International) and currently has over 400 members in over 39 countries worldwide.Operations of KNX ROMANIA are based on co-operation between the following departments: Communication, Technical, Events, Sponsorships, as well as the General Secretariat.The Association comprises:- Permanent members (Romanian legal persons - suppliers, integrators, architects, designers or consultants)- Affiliate members (other legal or natural persons supporting KNX),- Honorary members (natural persons in Romania with special merits in promoting the Association's purposes).The development of the building automation sector in Romania might see significant qualitative advancement by your enrollment in KNX ROMANIA Association!
