The Aspley Australian Football and Sporting Club (Hornets) was established in 1964. Since our first bounce-down more than 50 years ago, we have become known for our exceptional AFL teams competing at local and national levels. From grass-roots beginnings, the high calibre of our players, team spirit and local support has seen Aspley Hornets grow to become one of Brisbane's northern suburbs' most popular social and entertainment venues. Built by our community, a strong sense of history and pride underpins our dedication to high quality personal service and ensuring that everyone who visits – young or old, sports fan or social local – has the best possible experience. Talented chef's work wonders with high quality fresh produce while our guests revel in the relaxed, country club atmosphere and enjoy attentive service and a variety of entertainment. The club now caters for the full range of football from age 6 years with Auskick, through to Super – Rules for the over 35s. The Clubhouse business has grown in line with our football operations. From a community hall to a basic bar operation to the thriving community hub it is today, the Aspley Hornets boasts a large restaurant, comfortable members' lounge, sports bar and lounge bar, a bottle shop, a café area, function rooms, al fresco dining as well as 148 poker machines, Keno and TAB facilities. As an employee of the Aspley Hornets you will become part of a team of people working together to operate one of the best local facilities on Brisbane's North Side.
