ASSEX (Ambassadors of Study and Skills Exchange) South African Philanthropists that run own projects and work alongside other good-doers around South Africa to impact on the youth of South Africa and Lesotho, using education and skills development programs as a medium to inspire, motivate and ultimately keep the youth at school and better their future opportunities.We recruit volunteers and interns that are skilled or educated in the discipline they would like to volunteer in and our ideal participant is somebody who has more than 2 months on their hands to join our projects. In this way, we can be sure the experience is a positive one for both the beneficiary and the volunteer. We are about responsible travel and sustainable projects that work for the participant and the community they decide to impart their knowledge or skill on.
