ASSIST Medical Research Foundation Details
The mission of the ASSIST Medical Research Foundation is to manage and fund translational medical research for diagnostics and complementary therapies to treat complex chronic disease, particularly those driven by angiogenesis.The Foundation's goal is to support multiple educational and scientific projects that will increase understanding and awareness of the angiogenic regulator imbalances, which are believed to be the underlying drivers of certain complex chronic disease. The Foundation will fund research to study how moderating identified disease drivers documented in basic research may significantly affect, arrest and potentially eliminate certain complex chronic disease. The Foundation will also sponsor research that establishes diagnostic guidelines to support the prevention of disease by clarifying the imbalances that precede the onset of a disease.
