The world's leading society for the advancement of knowledge in software and technology for research surveys and statistics.The ASC runs a programme of conferences and events throughout the year. In most years, we present two one-day conferences on a specific topic. Every four years or so we host an "International" conference, which is a multi-stream residential conference held over two or three days, with peer-reviewed papers published in a Conference Proceedings volume at or immediately after the event. We offer several evening events to our members throughout the year, usually in London, and usually without charge.The ASC's Best Technology Innovation award is for outstanding and innovative applications of software or technology in the market, opinion or social research industry. The award is given for research technology innovation already proven, or early stage breakthrough technology that shows great potential to make a substantial impact within the industry in the near future.
