The Association of Nigerian Chartered Architects (ANCA) is a professional body representing chartered members in practice in its home country, Nigeria.The operations of The Association of Nigerian Chartered Architects is a support to, and in line with the wider objectives of the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) who have the sole power to regulate, register and control the practice of Architecture in Nigeria.The Association is also aware of the best practices worldwide where professional regulation and registration resides with the government of a country through an Agency. The Association has absolute confidence in ARCON regulating the profession in Nigeria and shall not engage in a parallel process.The Association of Nigerian Chartered Architects (ANCA) is a not for-profit and non-political professional association registered by Trusteeship under the Companies and Allied Matters Act Cap C20, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria (LFN), 2004 with Certificate of Registration number: CAC/IT/No. 99136 dated 1st August 2017. ANCA is also recognised by the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria as a Professional Association in the fields of architecture via ARCON's letter ref. No: ARCON/128/Vol. 1/10 of 5th September, 2017.The Association intends to further the advancement of architecture and its practice in Nigeria.
