The Association of Timeshare Recyclers (ATR) is a non-profit organization. The ATRs primary mission is to find, create and promote timeshare exit strategies that work for the timeshare industry as a whole. \\The ATR aims to support the continued success and growth of the timeshare industry via aiding and protecting the interests of the secondary market through:\• Finding and promote viable and economically healthy exit solutions for timeshare owners\• Properly recycling inventory to increase the general value proposition of timeshare\• Creating and promoting greater general awareness about the timeshare industry\• Assisting HOAs in cultivating new revenue streams through HOA Outreach programs\• Providing access to powerful tools through ATR membership\• Bolstering positive consumer sentiment towards the timeshare industry\\The Association of Timeshare Recyclers vision is to be influential in solving an industry defining issue, which is how to balance the needs of timeshare consumers who do not want to continue to pay maintenance fees for programs they are not using, with the timeshare resorts who rely on fee collection to run effectively.\\The Association of Timeshare Recyclers believes in a one-industry approach and that increasing the general fluidity of the timeshare will greatly benefit the industry. It also aims to address the many issues within the industry, such as the concerns of legacy owners and aging resorts, the future of the timeshare industry, and changes to legislation that hinder the ability for secondary market companies to properly do business. \\The ATR hopes to resolve these issues by opening clear lines of communication and promoting alternative solutions: \• Resort Revenue Generation programs \• Maintenance Fee Absorption programs \• Timeshare Resale initiatives\• Member Upgrade programs\• Developer Match programs\• Exchange programs\• Filtering ATR membership proceeds towards lobbying efforts
