Association of TV organizations (ATO) associates the subjects of both, Czech TV stations and TV advertising market. The primary and ongoing reason of founding this association was organization and shared financing of electronic audience measurement in the Czech Republic. Nowadays, the mission was enlarged to other activities as e.g. protection and implementation of the common interests of ATO´s members, in particular legislative and related measures in the field of broadcasting and advertising. Other functions involve publishing and editing, processing of media analyses, negotiation of technical standards and newly also self-regulation.
