The "Associazione Alunni, Ricercatori e Professori della Scuola Normale Superiore" ("Associazione Normalisti") is the alumni association of Scuola Normale Superiore. It was established in 1997 (after a first initiative of the philosopher Giovanni Gentile in 1933, revitalized in 1950) by a founding Committee lead by prof. Alessandro Faedo, who aimed to make it a meeting place and instrument of dialogue between different generations of " Normalisti". Up to day it encompasses about 1000 members and all the undergraduate and PhD students are de jure its members.
