"TDM 2000" is an independent no-profit organization recognized as a volunteer organization by the Sardinian Regional Government. It coordinates young people willing to cooperate in the voluntary sector, supporting them in developing personal and professional skills through experiential learning, international mobility, and Non-Formal Education.The main fields of interest are youth policy, entrepreneurship, human rights, democracy, intercultural learning, active citizenship, non-formal education, international cooperation, local development, and migration.All the activities we implement are thought, planned, and realized by young people.The NGO has an office in the center of Cagliari where volunteers and the board work daily.The group is composed of over 1000 members that actively participate in the projects of the NGO.We work primarily with Erasmus + youth programs and other Erasmus + sports, Europe for Citizens, European Youth Foundation, and other local and international programs.TDM 2000 is accredited to host, send and coordinate volunteers in the frame of EVS, and since 2009 hosts a project under National Civil Service.TDM 2000 realizes in the first week of August every year an international cultural festival that gives opportunity to around 200 youngsters from all over the world to discover and share different cultures.TDM 2000 cooperates with different Municipalities, the Sardinian Government, Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari, Regional Employment Agency, University of Cagliari, Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Sardinia, and several other entities and institutions at local and international levels in the fields of youth, education, training and entrepreneurship/employability.Associazione TDM 2000 is a member of the TDM 2000 International network (involving 27 NGOs from 21 European countries) and the Anna Lindh Foundation network for Euro-Mediterranean cooperation.
