Aston Metals (formerly MM Mining) Limited was incorporated in Australia on 7 June 2010. In late June 2014, Aeon Metals acquired the assets of Aston from FTI Consulting as Receivers and Managers. The main Project in the Aston portfolio was the advanced Walford Creek Base Metals Project in far NW Qld. In addition, Aston held a dominant land position north and south of the Glencore Mount Isa operations. The tenements straddle the Mount Isa fault corridor and splays of that system. Aeon raised $8M as part of the purchase deal to advance Walford Creek.
