...What is Asymmetree?... All products by Asymmetree are inspired by nature, architecture and science. Designs and patterns are created through the use of parametric design. By generating computer simulations of various natural processes, different shapes evolve, with an infinite number of variations. The digital design is translated to a product by the use of high-end manufacturing techniques, such as lasercutting, 3D printing or CNC-routing. All products are finished by hand, to ensure perfect detail and quality. ...Who is Asymmetree?... Asymmetree was founded in 2013 by Anja Verdonk. Anja graduated from Architecture at the Technical University of Delft (The Netherlands) in 2007. Since then, she has been working at several architecture offices. During her work as an architect, she discovered the amazing world of generative design. Apart from pursuing her carreer in architecture, she decided to explore this type of designing further, in the direction of product-design. The current products by Asymmetree are a result of this adventure.
