AT GK Academy was formalized as a Goalkeeper Academy in March of 2017. However the founder Allan Turtle has been applying his knowledge as an elite level goalkeeper, to the coaching of the specialized position on behalf of various clubs for over a decade. This GK Academy is a way to pass on the knowledge gained from personal and professional experiences and help raise the level of Goalkeepers produced in Canada and with a particular local focus in the Kingston and surrounding area.Philosophy:We believe in building a strong technical foundation and progressively adding layers while continually reinforcing the basics. This ensures that we maintain our good habits and that new skills are learned with greater ease.
