Aviation Training for Aviation Engineers (ATAE) is a registered training organisation, which was established to meet an industry need, in the Queensland region, for quality Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs).ATAE is a registered training provider offering nationally recognised training leading to a Certificate IV or Diploma in Aeroskills qualification in the Mechanical, Structures, or Avionics streams. ATAE is also a CASA Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation offering a full suite of aircraft maintenance licence category training including; training/examination, assessment, conversion, exclusion lifting and recognition of prior learning. ATAE is a division of the Royal Queensland Aero Club (RQAC) group of companies, and is located at Hangar 1, Qantas Avenue, on Brisbane's Archerfield Airport. Archerfield Airport is steeped in aviation history and tradition and today is the home of numerous aviation operations and maintenance businesses.
