The interdisciplinary art space ATELIERFRANKFURT (AF), located in the upcoming east of Frankfurt am Main, houses 130 studios for 220 artists and creatives on 7 floors. It is the biggest artist house based in Germany.In addition it hosts space for various exhibitions, projects or cultural events and offers visitors the possibility to examine contemporary artistic practices from national and international artists and creatives.Combining various artistic disciplines from fine arts, dance, performance, literature, curating, film and theatre it offers a space for cultural experimentation and exchange. Fine Arts, Artist Talks, controversy and theories belong to the AF like culinary art, music, dance and literature.The AF, located in a former warehouse close to the east harbor of Frankfurt, is one of the largest studio and exhibition houses in Germany. It is operated by the non-profit organization Atelierfrankfurt e.V. and directed by it's four headed AF-Team.
