We have been working in the tights and seamless area for more than 30 years. At the beginning, there was only the company NUOVO SIVEL, which was in charge of working and twisting yarns. Then in 2001 the commercial dept Athena was founded and at the end of 2008, the 2 companies merged together into ATHENA CALZE SRL. Our customers are from all around Europe, North America, Japan, Korea, and Canada. We are highly specialised in "private labels", in seamless technology production, in light, thermal, breathable garments and in products manufactured with sustainable, functional, high-performance technology yarns. We are certified for the environment, we don't use child labour, we believe in fair business practices and our quality control team works very hard to ensure all the production processes reach the highest standards. We pay a lot of attention to sustainability and we are very sensitive to the effects of our production on the environment. We've made some investments to save energy and that has resulted in a reduction in the cost of production and CO2 emissions. We work 5 days per week and 24 hours a day in 3 shifts, obtaining a total capacity of around 2 million pairs of tights and 1.500.000 items of seamless garments per year. Our strengths are good reaction, flexibility and punctuality in deliveries.
