Athena-Tek brings over 25 years of communications System Integration experience to the Federal and Commercial industries including designing, developing, producing and supporting networks for governmental agencies, the oil and banking sectors and large and medium enterprises. Moreover, Athena-Tek has built-to-print experience with Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) products and has supported live training systems fieldings CONUS and OCONUS.Our roots go back to the initial cellular deployments in Latin America with its principals having participated in network deployments from the original analog AMPS systems. The cellular industry evolved to 2G TDMA/CDMA/GSM and has now merged into 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE). Athena-Tek's principals will later support cellular network upgrades, and deploy and operate satellite, wireless broadband, paging, trunking and fiber networks. We have systems integrated solutions for voice, video and data applications per the customers requirements. We engage with strategic partners to integrate cost efficient solutions with low risk. Our systems engineering approach is based on our technical domain knowledge of live, virtual and constructive systems and our interdisciplinary engineering management process that evolves and verifies an integrated, life-cycle balanced set of system solutions. We have supported fielding of complex IT solutions for U.S. Army instrumented training utilizing the latest IT capabilities. The Home-Station Instrumentation System (HITS) supports collective maneuver training for platoon through battalion units. HITS captures Live Instrumentation events, training range video and tactical voice and augments virtual and constructive simulations to improve Warfighter performance. HITS leverages VMware vCenter Server 5 and vSphere Enterprise Plus 5.0 products to virtualize the system and provide a high availability architecture that minimizes down time and data loss on the core application servers.
