Atlantis Computing Details
Atlantis Computing, winner of multiple Best of VMworld and Best of Citrix Synergy awards, offers the industry’s most flexible and powerful Software-Defined Storage (SDS) platform delivered both as an all software solution and as a flash-based, hyperconverged appliance. Atlantis patented technology disrupts traditional approaches to data center design with costs up to 90% less and targets commoditizing storage performance. Atlantis USX™ software pools any SAN, NAS, or DAS storage delivering the performance of an all-flash storage array at half the cost of traditional SAN. It is a virtual appliance that accelerates physical storage performance, while at the same time consolidating and increasing its capacity. With Atlantis USX, enterprises can avoid purchasing additional storage for more than five years, meet the performance needs of any application without buying new or faster storage hardware, and transition seamlessly from costly shared storage systems to lower cost hyperconverged systems and public cloud storage. Atlantis HyperScale™ is the world’s first economically viable, all-flash hyperconverged appliance and is powered by Atlantis USX with costs up to 90% less than other all-flash alternatives. To date, Atlantis has deployed over 52 Petabytes of storage for more than 1,000 mission critical deployments, including the largest virtualization deployments in the world. Atlantis is privately held and funded by Adams Street Partners, Cisco Systems, El Dorado Ventures and Partech Ventures, with headquarters in Mountain View, California and offices in Europe.
