Over the course of its 75+ year history, Atlas grew into one of the world's largest independent suppliers of precision-machined crankshafts.In it's latter years of operation, the toll of LCC competition began take effect on Atlas in the forms of lost business and profit erosion, and in September 2019, Atlas ceased operations.
