About Atletico Southern CaliforniaAtletico Southern California (ASC) is a youth soccer club that provides programs for kids of all ages and abilities, ages 1.5-18. ASC's cadre of club teams compete in the prestigious Southern California Development League (SCDSL) year-round. In addition, we offer a recreational league (our Signature league) to those players seeking a less competitive, more local experience, a Select/Development Program (for those players wanting more intense training but who are not old enough/ready to commit to a club experience) and our own toddler/pre-k classes and league. By providing a full range of opportunities, ASC has created an environment that focuses on individual player development and promotes a passion for learning. We welcome young children from all different backgrounds, creeds and cultures, uniting them all in same dream—to become a better soccer player.The vision of Atletico Southern California (ASC)l is to develop each and every player's skills, technically and tactically. This will greatly increase the understanding of each player's role on the soccer field. ASC also aims to equip our players with vital life skills, such as focus, stamina and discipline that will place them in good stead in all other aspects of their lives.The ASC philosophy is founded on the "whole person" approach, recognizing that improving a player's physical and technical development must go hand in hand with the advancement of each player's maturity, as well as their emotional and psychological well-being.
