Atmotivate's first product is I Can Do That! Kids, a "learn how to learn" program for ages 6-11, designed to help improve a student's self-efficacy: a belief that "I can do that successfully". I Can Do That! Kids encourages students to understand what they are thinking when facing a challenge and to plan how they will work towards success. It is a resource for Teachers, Parents and Students. Unlike educational programs that proscribe the next step or activity for a student based on their response, I Can Do That! Kids helps students discern and decide for themselves what to do as they work on a challenge. ICDT! Kids Outsmart OBST, an annoying character created to represent learning obstacles. When students learn to overcome obstacles, they feel capable, motivated and less distracted. Teaching becomes more effective which results in improved learning outcomes.I Can Do That! Kids is introduced in the early grades, when students are most enthusiastic and receptive, building a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning. It is not subject specific, is easily integrated into any lesson, and is not another add-on program. It provides easy, real-time feedback to teachers; enables individualized instruction and helps to meet the students' personal needs.
