atone™ is an outstanding Learning & Development (L&D) software package that has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of both the resources industry and the National Resources & Infrastructure Industry Training Package (RII).The system has extensive reporting capability that brilliantly synergises all your L&D requirements, controlled by a simple to use operating platform. Without doubt, atone™ is the most cost effective, comprehensive training solution available to the resources industry.Research MethodologyThe system was developed after undertaking a rigorous two year consultation process involving multiple interactions with resource industry personnel, representing a cross section of mine operators and major contracting companies. In particular, research methods incorporated countless one-on-one interactions and multiple focus group consultations, comprising personnel from a variety of disciplines, including: safety & training, production and technical services.This thorough research methodology afforded the project team a concrete information platform on which to build the system and ensure it would meet the needs of the industry.Why the name atone™?The most common feedback received from the consultation process was that personnel responsible for the L&D agenda were made to use a variety of providers out of necessity (not choice), to bring their L&D program together. Furthermore, in all our research we were not able to identify a single system that could meet the majority of L&D needs on a site.Upon completion of the research and investigation process, ‘The Flynn Group' commissioned an innovative team of web designers, programmers, graphic artists and instructional designers to go to work on the program we now call atone™. The name atone™ means ‘to make one'; it is this notion that has continued to inspire and uphold our design team throughout the development of the program.
