American University College Democrats is a student-run organization united in its passion and dedicated in its defense of the ideals and goals of the Democratic Party. To that end, we mobilize and empower young people to connect to the electoral process and participate in active citizenship. We engage, educate, and inspire our membership to understand the events of our time and demand a role in them. We are committed to building a community of conscious students who stand ready to work for justice, progress, and sustainability, and willing to take up the torch and carry the flame of our generation forward.
